* HAIR STYLIST | MAKE-UP ARTIST:

HairMakeUpProfessional Hair Stylists and Make-Up Artists who attend Camp Couture develop new techniques, polish the valuable skills they already have and learn first hand how to adapt when working in a location based setting rather than a typical salon. Camp Couture mentors are seasoned in all aspects of creating looks for editorial spreads, runway shows, performances, red carpet events, etc. and, they will be there to guide our participants through each step of the creative process. Hair and make-up are the elements that complete the look and Camp Couture’s goal is to challenge your talent so you can take your career to the next level. The beauty industry professionals play a huge role in the capture of attention and accentuate the fashion world season after season. Its the Hair Stylist and Make-Up Artist who are responsible for making the ordinary something extraordinary. Camp Couture is a way to get your foot in the door; our mentors will introduce you to tricks of the trade so you can continue building relationships that enable you to practice your talent, enhance your portfolio and live your dream. 

* FASHION STYLIST | DESIGNER:

A Fashion Stylist|Designer who participates in a Camp Couture session will enhance their current skill set by creating strong looks as well as learning to build a solid client base via proper self-promotional technique. Stylist/Designers will also learn  how to tap into the resources that enable them to establish solid relationships with showrooms, designers, buyers, brands and more.  Camp Couture cultivates the Stylist|Designer who is passionate about working with other members of the creative team, behind the scenes at runway shows, editorial spreads, in the studio or on location to produce the clients’ vision. Trade secrets to make your future VIP clientele red carpet ready will be revealed. Your personal style will evolve as you gain the confidence you need to catapult your career to the next level through valuable exposure so you continue to build your portfolio and succeed as an artist. During your Camp Couture experience, you will be introduced to top NY agents, be granted true credit for the work you produce and our fashion mentors will be there to guide you through every step of the creative process.

* PHOTOGRAPHER:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and capturing the moment is a skill worth 1000 words. Its the Photographer who connects the focus of the creative team in order to develop each individual clients’ vision. Photographers who attend Camp Couture will be challenged with creative techniques to help them execute the concepts vision and make it reality. They will work with the members of the creative team and through their lens they will showcase the talent of not only themselves, but most importantly, the talent of the team as a whole. Photographers will be exposed to the tricks of the trade when shooting in the studio or on location, practice manipulating the existing light and use it to their advantage and benefit from constructive critique by the Camp Couture mentors so they have the confidence to continue building a strong portfolio that includes timeless images. Its the Photographer who ultimately pulls the pieces of the visual puzzle together so Camp Couture has designed our program to develop the skills they already have so they succeed in leading the creative teams that the future is sure to bring. 

* MODEL:

The fashion industry has set very high standards for Models and those who aspire to walk the runway or be in magazines. Models must possess very specific qualities. Camp Couture is a way for new faces to experience the Model lifestyle. It is a glamorous and extremely rewarding profession but, in order to make it in this business, a Model must be confident enough to overcome judgement. Those who succeed work hard to take care of their hair, skin and overall appearance, they must be able to withstand stilettos for long hours, have a knack for the latest trends and not be a afraid to express their own personal style. Models who participate in a Camp Couture session will be exposed to the challenges they are yet to face and Camp Couture mentors will be there every step of the runway to get them ready for an exciting career. They are the subject of the creative team’s vision and will be the canvas for the Hair Stylist|Make-Up Artist. They will enhance the beauty of the garments for the Stylist|Designer and understand the overall vision to be able to follow direction so the photographer can portray the look for the client. Models will be shooting in the studio and on location, walk the runway,  promote brands and interview with top NYC agents. Camp Couture is a unique way for new faces to experience all aspects of the fashion industry. While building their portfolios and polishing their skills,  they take their career to the next level and prepare for success as a Model.
